new graphics card

I've just replaced a faulty graphics card in the dualboot machine at home, and was wondering how to let the linux part know it has an S3 Trio64V rather than a Whatever-it-was? I ran XF86Config from a command line, but got all the header and footers for each section in XF86Config come up with "command not found". A search on google showed the driver "accel" can be used with this card....I'm not sure how to activate this driver, or if I can just edit XF86Config by hand. Or how to find if debian has the driver "accel". Or anything much really. Ta, Jenny.

Parking in Cambridge

I'm told that using the Park-and-ride is the best way to deal with parking in Cambridge, there's a Park-and -ride just by the Airport. That's assuming that mostofthe membership will be coming from the East, but it does'nt solvethe problems of those who want to bring their machines with them. Having looked at the Cambridge LUG site it might be possible that they could make their cellar availble. John seago

If you go to :- http://www.microsuxx.com/ you can get Email that does'nt print adverts for `Microsoft' ® products on the ALUG main, (or any of the other lists).
