Triple booting

Any ideas on how to or where to look for info on triple booting Linux, Win NT and Win 98? Win NT and 98 reside on a FAT16 partition on hda1. Linux has / on hdb1 with /home on hdc1 and a swap partition on hdc5. Lilo is on the first sector of the Linux boot partition hdb1 so I'm booting it with a floppy at the moment. I presume that the NT boot loader can be configured to point to the Linux boot partition but I'm not really conversant with NT so I need some help here. I don't really want to use a third party boot manager or a floppy so it's either the NT boot loader or possibly loadlin but again that's a root I'd like to steer clear of. FreeAgent1.1/Wine 990815/Linux RH6.0 - invisible mouse pointer.

Problem: Mouse pointer is white, as is FAgent's background. Both seem to be non-configurable. Have tried various command line parametes with wine, no effect. Using a drossy Matrix G100 video card. Suffering same problem with other MS software, eg Notepad. Is there a simple solution? KDE-1.1.2 out

For those interested, KDE-1.1.2 is now out. I've seen the Press Release, but www.kde.org isn't yet updated, and ftp.mirror.ac.uk hasn't got a 1.1.2 directory yet. Expect rpms in the coming days. I believe this is the final release in the v1.x.x tree, and as such is suppost to be very stable. Window manager

At last Sundays meeting one of you I think it was Brett was running a window manager which had transparent windows. What wm is it, where can I get it, how do I configure it to do that and do any other wms have this facility? Also I tried to load Debian to no avail (major hassles trying to get the x server working), I think I still need some hand holding as yet so it's back to RH6 which works a treat on my system. Any chance of recovering a partition?

Greeting from Japan (Hi all!) I migrated into Debian 2.1 Slink (with a tiny bit of Japanese environment), and it is cool to have it on my computer. That said, I also mistakenly configured lilo, my Windows 9x partition won't work -:) I know that there is a configuration problem in boot.0301. I don't have "boot.0301" in boot. I know myself that in order to boot Windows 98 on my first partition, I need a right "boot.0301" file, so that I can recover from that. Is there anyway I can recover boot.0301 without backup? I can't access to /dev/hda1, as the earliest part of the partition is messed Don't worry if I got to lose "that" partition. Though I'm gonna lose lots of pictures files and job hunting documents, I know I won't use Windows anyway. Strange X problem.

Lads, I don't know if this is a coincidence of not, but since I brought my PC home after alug3, if I connect to it from any other PC using X the machine hangs totally. The only cure is the reset button. Telnet works just fine, and X works fine on the machine itself. Does anyone have any idea what this might be or how to get around it? I recompiled to kernel cleanly and from scratch (we did that a few times on Sunday!), and that didn't help at all. Cheers, Laurie.
