Is anyone successfully resuming from hibernation with
suspend2 2.2.8 on kernel 2.6.18.2? If so, how,
please? I guess the solution will have something to
do with what's in the "init" file of the initrd. Mine
is appended below: as you can see, it contains three
attempts at resuming: by putting a file in /sys, by
putting a file in /proc, and by using the
(undocumented) nash command "resume." None of them
work, I just get a fresh boot.
The middle one works fine with suspend2 2.2.7 on
kernel 2.6.17.2, but with the newer software, it
produces an error message about not being able to open
the file in /proc for writing, because there's no such
file or directory.
