Mandrake

I've installed Mandrake Linux, given away with the recent issue of PC Plus, on my laptop and I love it. Kernel compiled for Pentiums, automounting of floppy and CDROM, a lovely install interface and a range of X windows managers. Anyone else tried it? Debian Queries

What is the info for configuring sound in Debian please? I have a book that I got with Caldera OpenLinux 2.2 - 'Sams Teach Yoursel Linux in 24 hours' (no chance!) that mentions 'insmod' but Debian doesn't approve! What is the right way to configure sound in Debian? Also, with printing, it's configured with A4 size paper, mine is 8 1/2" x 11" tractor paper - where do I alter the size? Thanks in anticipation! SuSE 6.4 on it's way..

Although I've not been about to offer the boxed version of SuSE 6.3, I am pleased to announce that I'm now receiving the full boxed set of 6.4 and will definately try to make it for the next meeting with both 6.3 and 6.4 copies for those that want it.
