I can't get Gnome to save sessions, at least I can't get it to do what I'm expecting it to do.
Running Ubuntu 8.10 beta.
I go to System - Preferences - Sessions and select the Options tab. There I'm presented with a selection box for "Automatically remember running applications when logging out" and a button which says "Remember Currently Running Application". Whichever I use *nothing* appears to be saved, i.e. if I log out leaving some terminals running they don't reappear when I log back in again.
Am I misunderstanding what this is supposed to do or is it just totally broken? Google searches seem to suggest that it is supposed to do what I'm expecting but there don't seem to be any reports of it not working, even less of some sort of fix for it.
