Sorry you've lost me there. What does a free email service have to do with James' original problem, they don't seem to offer a broadband service so aren't an ISP. I can't quite get my head around what you are suggesting here.
I got straight in to your targets on GMX (webmail) and with Paston (Thunderbird under Xandros), using an Eee and a Vodafone dongle with only GPRS coverage here.
Again how did you get to the targets via an email service...or am I missing something ?
