I'm not advocating Plesk as a product (never really used it, or cPael for that matter). On the few systems I have a "control panel" it's VirtualMin, and I rarely touch that either. The reason for seeking out Plesk is that is what my friend currently uses so it should, as I understand it, make migrating the sites trivial and reduce (remove?) any learning curve for him.
