I know that all ALUG meetings I've ever known about have been on a Sunday but would a Saturday meeting be out of the question? specifically a Saturday meeting in Norwich(UEA)?
When doing some edits to the web site, I found that Adam Bower wrote "Sundays seem to be rather traditional for ALUG meetings but I'm sure we could do Saturday meets also." I guess that the Sunday habit is because the first meeting was on a Sunday, over four years ago. I think people would like to meet at UEA again, given past list messages. If it could be promoted on campus noticeboards and linux@uea, that would probably help get more people to attend. I remember being told that iTCS staff might attend early weekday evening meetings on campus, but probably not otherwise. Things could have changed, though. -- MJR/slef My Opinion Only and possibly not of any group I know.
