Anyhow, who is out there who wants to come along? Will a kit meet format be suitable? Is there something else we should do? Should we have some vintage Linux distros?
I'd certainly be up for that, especially on a weekend. The weekend of the 2nd/3rd of May is currently empty in my diary. Regarding format: I'm not exactly a kit geek (owing to its intrinsic expense - as opposed to software's intrinsic freeness - and my intrinsic poverty) but I can bake and would be very happy to make a cake for ALUG. And venue: I could make some enquiries at UEA. Though I'm not formally involved there anymore, I haven't had my masters conferred yet so I could possibly make some claim of eligibility.
