Do you have any kernel errors when trying to connect?
How do i find out?
There's a command called dmesg which shows the output from the kernel, quite often you'll get messages in there relating to problems.
I'd suggest anyone having this problem tries the fix I posted a link to earlier in the thread and see if it fixes the problem for them. If it does then it's a kernel/driver bug.
