Well we discussed this earlier but If you can afford it then spend the extra £150 as it will give you more options in the future and printing should be faster over ethernet with hw postscript. This also removes the need of having to worry about setting up a box as a print server, configuring ghostscript and all the other possible problems that you get doing it with a PC like filling up /var/spool or the print server breaking (or you breaking the print server etc.)
Also how easy is it to print using Ghostscript as a printer driver? I am used to the windows printing at work which is done on a laserjet 8150DN over a 10Mbit ethernet.
It must be fairly easy to setup printing without postscript as I did it here in 30mins I think, and I havn't got a clue how I set it up! as it was so easy.
