Check that you still have Line Sync with the DSLAM at your local exchange. My Alcatel modem has a light on the front, if this is on it can see the DSLAM.
Try depowering your router, waiting 5mins for BT's RADIUS server to realise you've disconnected and try again.
Thanks for the advice. I am afraid it had no effect. All the external lights on the router show everything as OK.
I am waiting to hear back from UKFSN to see if they can shed any light on things.
