Anyone got one of those SUSE live evaluation CD's? I've never used one, but the concept of playing around in a Linux distro purely off a CD (without having to play with your HD) makes trying it out a lot easier.
Actually, a CD with one of the live Linux demo systems on, a copy of something like zipslack for the Windows/DOS users and copies of network install images for Debian and any others is probably a very good idea for the Install Day. I expect other LUGs participating would like to use such a thing. I'm more than happy to do the artwork and documentation, so who can compile the CD image? Shall we talk about this on IRC on Monday?
I expect I can arrange distribution too if required, but hopefully it won't be a full 650Mb (reduce download and burn times... let's not fill the disc with crap just to make up the numbers, but having (for example) key starter docs from the LDP on there is probably a good idea).
