Have you looked at the website? http://www.openstreetmap.org/index.html?lat=52.645406&lon=1.277492&scale=0.0... is also a reasonable place to look. It's a project to produce a Free set of maps that can be used by anyone. Done using GPS to get track points and then drawing the map details based on that.
