Have scanner won't scan. We've been there before but not with Simple Scan. It knows my AGFA Snap Scan is there but says it's unable to connect. It is plugged in! I've tried gksudo simplescan (was that right?) and nothing happened. Is it another case of having to install VueScan?* And if it is, can someone kindly take me through how to install it? Many thanks.

*That's what I had to do with my last computer to get it to work.
