Where was everybody?
I was there, John Atkinsonwas there, Two people from Bury St. Edmunds were there, (Iapologise for not having made a note of your names), and the host was there, (even Alison came after she had walked the dog). The venue was ideal, all the infrastructure to support everybodies toys, and yet the multitudes stayed away!
I have to apologise too -- tied up all day from dawn to midnight with little break!
I suppose I should have apologised in advance. However, this low turnout is by a long way untypical of ALUG meetings.
In the circumstances, the warmest thanks are due to Rob Tillyard for setting it up and being host, and sympathies for the disappointment.
Thanks, Rob.
I have to agree with Ted this is very untypical of an average ALUG meeting where there is rarely less than 10 members show up. I do hope it doesn't dampen your enthusiasm for holding meetings.
Thanks for hosting Rob, sorry I didn't make it and get to meet you, hope to at the next one.
Cheers, BJ
