With external directional antennas then yes you may be able to get it working (though not likely at anything approaching full speed)
If you're serious about trying this, I'd talk to someone like Solwise (www.solwise.co.uk) - they should point you in the right direction and their stuff isn't too expensive.
(My only connections to Solwise are as a one-time reseller[*] and current customer.)
