Since they shortened the intermediate release life to 9 months one has got to install each release. *buntu's no longer my choice. Upgrading has certainly been more of a problem 12.04 to 14.04 than others.

Unity + Amazon ads finished Ubuntu for me.
Thankfully there are plenty of alternatives to Ubuntu!
