Are there any good usable open source alternatives?
Thanks,
BT recently purchased a small open source company, which grew out of an open source project called TiddlyWiki [www.tiddlywiki.com]. As they now employee the development team, they've been pushing it around their business as a useful productivity tool. It's a desktop wiki which can be used pretty effectively as a general purpose notepad, if it fits the way you work. Worth a try - to install, you just download a web page which makes it very easy to move around on memory sticks etc. Peter.
