Since I spent only £50 on my brand new laser printer I am reluctant to pay more than that for a new toner cartridge. So, surfing the net I came across toner refils at a mere £15. Anyone tried them; are they any good?
A possibly useful pointer on this topic:
If you happen to be in Cambridge, pop in to
Supercharge Toner Technology Unit 3b, 25 Gwydir St
(From Mill Road, walk some distance down Gwydir St and there's an entrance on the left to a yard [where you can also park if driving] where you will find it on the left hand side), and have a word with the guy there (if he happens to be there).
I've found him very useful in the past -- not only refilled cartridges (which I've not bought) but also unused (boxed) toner cartridges at very cheap prices (e.g. I used to buy cartridges for Brother HL 1070 for 10 quid). Also, he knows his way round the laser-printer field, and is willing to give useful information.
Best wishes, Ted.
