I've got one of those sticks, it "just works". How are you managing the connection? Network Manager? Are you 100% certain that the settings in there are correct?
What happens if you run ifconfig when it says it's working? Has another interface appeared for the data device? Does it have an ip address etc.?
Also... what is the 4 network? 1 better than Three? :)
