For 64bit Linux, Gentoo works the best. You need to scratch your head around if you use Fedora.
Nick has 1Gigabyte of RAM, and that is good. If you run 64bit OS, you really want 1 gigabyte minimum, as things do work slow if you only have 512Mb.

Many thanks Laurie. Now downloaded, and will have a go, was very impressed with Kororaa CD when installed, have been running Suse for about seven years, but feel a need for change. I like Gentoo, but it can be a challenge! I'm not at all sure about this new graphical install though, as it seems to make it harder for multiple installs on the same hardware (need more time to play). I'd be interested to know how you get on.
