Not directly but I have used other Firewire storage devices on Linux without issues.
As I understand it Firewire storage tends to use the standard SCSI signalling. If your kernel is recent and supports your Firewire interface on the PC then it should automagically be given a SCSI device name and work as if it were a SCSI drive. by tailing /var/log/messages you should see it getting assigned / dev/sda or something like that as it is plugged in. Then simply modify your / etc/fstab and mount as normal.
Memory is nagging me that sometimes you have to kick one of the SCSI subsystems somewhere...sometimes and there is a trick where you can get it to automount as it is plugged in, but generally it should just work.
Have you got one you have tried and failed to make work, or are you checking out the compatability before purchasing.
