THE LENDING LIBRARY
We have one?!
Yes, but I suspect only David knows where the original books are.
PUBLICITY COORDINATION
"I'll link yours if you link mine"
Yes, that's a good first step.
MEETING FORMATS
Well, perhaps a timetable structure is in order if we are to have talks or discussions. [...]
Maybe we should have different types of meeting, including talks, round-tables, installfests, troubleshoots and socials, with the current monthly meetings combining any two of those?
Perhaps we could do a WIKI that has suggested topics
Good idea!
Seriously, though, raffles? Perhaps one for the FSF or similar,or we could do it on a computer to save paper ;), or help out for server costs for the ALUG site or summink.
Personally, I'd suggest doing them for the benefit of the Association For Free Software http://www.AFFS.org.uk/ which is a UK body to promote and protect Free Software such as GNU and Linux. ;-)
Not bothered about the computer-based bit, as that's only pseudo-random and I'm sure we all recycle waste paper anyway.
By the way, you'll all join AFFS as soon as we open membership to the general public, won't you? (Very soon now.)
