Even though if I go into "/usr/X11R6/lib" I can see "libXt.so.6" is installed (I am running Debian 3.0) so I am a bit confused.

WordPerfect, if my memory serves me well (which it seldom does), depends on an old version of xlib6. My current version of Debian (Testing) uses xlib6 4.1 but I also have to have xlibs 3.3 installed to run WordPerfect.
