I think I may just go for a 17gig / partition, especially as I always put a duplicate 'spare' or 'extra' install on the second disk with both installs sharing duplicate swap and /archive partitions, (I lost a years email's once). that would give me 2 installs of Slackware and space for one of Debian and one of something else I might like to try.
