Not specifically linux - hope no-one is bothered by that. You people are my front-line support for any compter advice.
I've just bought a T-series Thinkpad. It has Lithium-Ion batteries. AFAIR these do not have the 'memory' effect so does that really mean in practice that it is perfectly OK to give short booster charges no matter what the state of charge/discharge?
Also, I think I've seen somewhere that keeping the laptop on mains power withthe battery installed will lead to reduced battery life. Is this the case?
