Hi Clever People!
I have a USB drive that's encryped and mounted using LUKS. It's used to hold backups (using backuppc and another backup system). This drive appears to be a bit flaky so I'm going to have to replace it. My silly question is, if I use dd to copy the entire contents from the old disk to the new one, am I going to be able to mount the new one via LUKS and it be able to access the data or is there some hidden gotcha that will prevent this from working?
