Isn't Elmswell out past Bury St Edmonds (coming from Cambridge-way) ?
We have relatives at Foulden (a little village about 5 miles to the east of Downham Market). They have just refurbished their village hall and the village also has a pub ( :o) ). I believe it would cost us about £12 to rent it for an afternoon. I'm sure we could organize lifts to/from the station at Downham if required.
Would this be a suitable venue for a meeting nearer to the Cambridge/Newmarket area?
