Having seen the recent suggestions for a new 24" I thought I would go ahead and get some input on my issue.
I currently have a 15" CRT but it is too large to put on a new desk, so I therefore need to get an LCD around 15-19" but am unsure as to what to look for regarding models and so forth.
Just a few years ago 1280x1024 was all the rage, but now everything must be wide. If you can get 1920x1080 then you'll future proof your video watching for a while.
