You may have noticed mentions of the above, previously as Project Mad Hatter, and dismissed them as not being relevant to Linux. Well in fact the thing has rather more to do with Linux than with Java. It's actually SuSE Linux, Gnome and Mozilla, badged as a Sun product. And they have a deal with China for "at least" 200 million desktops, starting at 1M/year. Quite a coup for the penguin, with Microsoft well out of the race.
