I've decided to do the same, any opinions on who to go with? Clara seems to be one of the best of a very bad lot.
I have been with the Phone Co-op for everyday fixed-monthly-fee internet connectivity and have no complaints (although their newsnet feed is not too good). It is not the cheapest but that's not always the best value for money.
One thing that I like is that the account is not tied to a specific phone number so I can use the net as much as I wish when visiting family and they are not charged for the call.
AFAIR it is a monthly contract with no minimum period.
Also it is part of the co-operative movement which is not such a bad thing either in my book. The emphasis is on providing a service.
BTW - are you on the Halesworth exchange? Did you see that Halesworth just reached the broadband trigger level? Fast connections in a few months.
