I use CrashPlan which is pretty good but cross-platform capability comes from being Java based which makes it memory hungry. Goof enough overall that I just renewed though. Apparently a native lcient is in the works but that's been the story for a while now.
A nice feature of CrashPlan is that you can use their software to do P2P backups - ie you can backup your files to a friend's PC and vice versa - for no cost. You only pay for data that you upload to their storage. That said you can achieve similar functionality through btsync and others...
