Anything SCSI? I have Tandberg 525MB tape drive with an A4 box full of tapes which I'd like to dispose of.
The drive is a 5.25" device about the size of 5.25" floppy drive. I could deliver to you if you're interested. I wouldn't fancy dragging it to a pub meet and I can't imagine you would want to lug it home on a bus either.
Thank you for your kind offer.
Not conversant with that device, but to this collector of ancient things, it sounds rather earlier than anything I have in use.
Oldest 'device' I use (apart from the PCWs when I get new elastic bands for their 3" drives...) is the old all-SCSI dual 90 MHz processors server with a bank of 10? defunct HDDs, and even that hasn't seen the light of day for a couple of years.
I am at a loss to think what one would use the tape drive for now that hard discs have arrived...
Please enlighten me!
(I have two Tandberg semi-pro cassette recorders and I like the quality innit.
