I recently built myself an HP ProLiant server. It's running Ubuntu server and I have most things working except the get_iplayer PVR option.

Has anybody any idea where I'm going wrong please as I've spent many hours on this now and I'm getting nowhere despite looking through several pages of FAQ on the get_iplayer forums.
I found the solution to this problem with this through trial and error and just in case anybody else has the same issue, here's the solution.
The options file (I'd copied it over from this machine) has a 'search' line it and while that never stopped the normal get_iplayer stuff working, it stopped the pvr function. I just deleted that line and the Ubuntu box runs fine now and downloaded a few files overnight.
I'd like to move on now to being able to access the web pvr from this machine but all my connections time out. I've tried setting the IP address in the Ubuntu config file to the localhost address, and even 0.0.0.0 but all my connections from here time out.
Do I need to make any changes to the firewall to allow the connection through? If so, what do I specify? I've looked at lots of the get_iplayer forums and nobody ever seems to mention firewall rules so I'm not getting too far forward.
Any suggestions?
