So, I have a new to me laptop. How do I sensibly and safely transfer passwords, bookmarks etc onto it? I've tried to back them up before now (Firefox's 'import bookmarks from html' option) but I'm not wholly confident about that method. Step by step please.
And is my assumption that because it has more memory and is newer than my current pc that a 64-bit OS (Cinnamon Mint if you’re interested) reasonable?
