The ST Home is boring, but works as well as your USB does. Make sure you use the "Benoit" drivers rather than Alactel's (although you do need one file with the firmware for upload from those). There is one remaining slight bug if you totally disconnect and reconnect the modem (currently requires a reboot to clear), but that is gone in 2.4.19pre3 or later.
Now, if only my DSL was working for more than a week between faults... :-/
