I'm using VirtualBox for an XP guest running on xubuntu 8.10, very few issues really, it just works. It certainly runs the whole of Microsoft Office 2003 without any issues, including an Access database.
A colleague has been using VirtualBox (XP as the host, Ubuntu 8.10 as the guest) and has been having trouble with svn (http connection dies early).
Since the binary version claims to support USB2 I'm installing it now on my Ubuntu 8.10 PC to test virtual Windows.
