The sender header should point to a valid email address for the sender and preferably be in the canonical form for that address. Think of it as the reverse of envelope rewriting on the incoming feed.
(eg the sender header for this mail will point to abower@pandora.zeus.co.uk which is a valid mail relay but my email address is abower@zeus.com).
Worst case if your mail server admin doesn't correct it: subscribe abower@pandora.etc and set it not to get email (nomail).
