[Alug] Sony Vaio PCMCIA cd-rom drive

Hi People, Does anyone have one of the above? as I have had my vaio with transmeta processor for a few months now and havn't got around to installing linux (no netboot, no cd-rom drive, no floppy drive, and loadlin doesn't work grrr..). I have tried loadlin and the kernel does not come up!? and using a USB floppy is ok but I havn't now got the floppy drive as it was borrowed and I would need to make new boot disks with USB floppy support (which is a pain). also I have been ill for the past week so may not make it on Sunday, and almost certainly won't have new Debian cd's.
