I'm trying to persuade a Virtual Ubuntu installation to talk to a Windows 7 host. What's frustrating is that one share works but another doesn't and I can't see why, other than the 'Protocol error' which is displayed. Is there somewhere on the virtual machine where this stuff is logged so that I can perhaps see what's going wrong?
