Hi,
I'm sure a talk could be arranged on Linux within the post-production and visual effects world at some point this year. I was going to do it earlier last year, but unfortunately things got a bit hectic.
If people are still interested in this topic and we can come up with a date in the not too distant future for a presentation at UEA (*and* assuming my employers is still willing for me to talk about this sort of thing), then I would be more than happy to come along to do something for Alug.
Regards,
Martyn

Hi all,
I'm going to publish this just as soon as we have the remaining dates, unless someone objects. Improvements are welcome. Note that the first Norwich discussion meeting has been pencilled in for next Sunday -- who's going to be there?
Me! In the audience though. You couldn't get me to do a presentation if you held a gun to a cute kittens head.
Where abouts in the UEA is it pls? (and what time). And given that the only place I have been is the student bar[1], some directions too pls?
cheers,

[1] well, OK, I've been in the student accomodation too, but that involved getting chased by security (including vans) so I don't talk about it.
