Hi,
I have a Shuttle SB83G5 machine, which has an Intel ICH6 chipset. I've got the soundcard working with ALSA using the snd-intel8x0 driver.
My problem is this, I can get audio via the analogue outputs or the SPDIF output, but not both at the same time. I've done a fair bit of googling, and by the looks of it, no one has suceeded.
Anybody here managed to get the same thing to both outputs at the same time?
The soundcard is the same as the Intel8x0/nForce2/Realtek ALC650. If only I had a spare PCI slot, I'd stick a Creative Audigy in it. Never had any trouble with that outputting to both places at the same time.
