My connection is fine (I've rung my ISP) but I'm having trouble loading pages. It doesn't always happen. Sometimes, like now for example, it'll be slow, then when I go back to it, it springs into life. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox (not gone away) and Chrome's at it now too. Anyone got any ideas?
This can sometimes happen when one, or more, of the advertising/tracking sites is overloaded. As a page tries to load it gets a very slow response from them making the whole process very slow.
Using a good adblocker (eg. ABP) and a tracking blocker (eg. ghostery) can make things go much faster.
Of course, it could be something completely different causing your problem.
