Hi chaps
Does anyone know if it is possible to get Thunderbird to download messages in the sent-mail folder of an inbox as well as those that are in the inbox itself?
I tend to use a webmail interface to check emails while I am at work, and it's annoying that any sent from there don't download onto my machine at home.
Any help appreciated.
Make sure thunderbird is saving the Sent items onto the IMAP server in the right folder. This is under Account properties then Copies & Folders, check this is going to the same place and it is in your webmail.
Make sure you are subscribed to the sent mail box (whatever it is called) by right clicking on the account and clicking subscribe and then putting a tick beside it.
Finally, once you are subscribed to the mailnbox, you can make sure that the it is checked for new mail by right clicking on the box and clicking properties and then ticking the 'Check this folder for new messages'.
Hope that helps, although the final step may be a bit overkill.
Cheers,
