Hi All,
Here's one for you, My Linux box is running an IP MAsquerading firewall, I am trying to configure socks5 for it. I've downloaded it and it compiled fine, but the HOWTO seems to relate to a different version of socks, and the examples arn't what you'd call easy to follow.
HELP!!!!
Cheers Chris
What's the actual problem you're having? I found tcpdump invaluable, as were the firewall logs (turn full logging on temporarily and 'tail -f' the log file).
Sorry it was a bit vague... The problem I have is that I'm using ICQ behind my firewall, and people cant send me files via ICQ. Works fine the other way, and chat sessions work as well. It's annoying, was thinking maybe if ICQ knew about a SOCKS proxy it might work.
