[Alug] glutton for punishment.... (debian)

I have decided to completely remove Windows from my machine and install Debian. (yay). Problem: I need a 2.4.x kernel to support my hardware (USB stuff, I also like iptables). I noticed that there is a kernel-image-2.4.18-k7 package, although I'm not sure whether to just d/l the source and use make-kpkg.
