Thanks for looking - I'd already done that (very late last night) and intended to do some more next time I'm in wifi range - the 'bizsupport' site doesn't help a lot as, from the diagram, you can't tell which way to slide the lock - slide it so that the visible tab on the green ridgything docks, or slide it so that it undocks.
Tried it both ways, and neither works.
And the site assumes you have the destructions, and know the function of the buttons. So, I decided to find the maker's bumff and download it - later in the week.
Meanwhile, I've done some archaeology and unearthed the big bas^h^h^scanner I bought last century, and will use that.
