Hi again, Brett.
The only real problem is that the Java applet will only talk to the webserver it was served from, and we're not the sysadmins incharge of the server, and I'm not sure they'd appreciate us forwarding connections over to a real ssh server.
Will take a look at what's available when I've got some tuits though, preferably some round ones!
Well, I don't think this should be an issue. We've put the responsibility of content creation back to all ALUG members, so I hope now that those who have taken on the role of administering the ALUG site can concentrate on that. Specifically, if there's a lack of privileges issue then that needs fixing - either by requesting greater access from the current hosting provider or by moving the ALUG site; there are a number of other free hosting options which could be considered. Groups don't get much geekier than LUGs, so if we can't sort out control of our own website, people will just make fun of us. ;)
Sounds like a plan type wassbob.
And, a bit later than planned, DONE! ...

I've added the various suggestions which I've discussed both on and off the list with various people.
Should be easy enough for people to add their own and/or action any of the ones already on there. It should also be easy to add any other components I may have missed.
Hope that's of use,
Peter.
