It's back up; looks like the machine was rebooted this morning. We don't have admin access to the machine, it's generously provided by PHP4Hosting. The lists are hosted on an entirely separate machine which is why they were still up.
You'll find your mails to the list don't get held up for moderation if you send plain text rather than multipart HTML btw.
